Attend the Thia restaurent. If never fails to impress. The food is very good and very affordable. The staff are attentive and very helpful .
However the entry into the Hotel and main entrance leaves a lot to be desired. It really gives a bad first impression in as much it needs swept clean and cosmetic decoration would not go amiss.

For Montrose very good hotel with friendly owners. It belongs to family and both of them working in hotel. I used it when had business trip to Montrose and was living there more then 2 weуks.

Stayed there two or three nights - Graeme is a bit of a character! Told me he had a vintage fire engine a few years ago - but no longer!

Website said 2 restaurants and a bar. There was neither and after a 6 hour drive was very disappointed.
